The Future.

Birtinya is a community on the rise.

It is rapidly transforming into a $5 billion world-class destination for the Sunshine Coast, where homes, shopping, entertainment, business, health services, jobs and tourism all co-exist.

New roads, bridges, parks, and services continue to be delivered. Stockland Birtinya Shopping Centre opened in December 2018 and features a flagship Coles and ALDI supermarket, and 40 speciality retailers. A new ‘night quarter’ precinct is nestled beside the shopping centre and has ignited an exciting food and entertainment scene.

Birtinya Town Centre will grow into a bustling dining, retail and commercial hub to meet the needs of residents. While established local schools and childcare already cater to growing families, as does the adjoining Village Park - a broad green space which is just as perfect for picnicking as it is for kicking a football.

All of this rests on the shores of Lake Kawana, a beautiful artificial lake used for water sports - from recreational fishing, swimming, kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding, to hosting rowing regattas and dragon boat racing.
